The use of bots is unethical, goes against Instagram’s Terms of Use, and dilutes a platform that’s largely been built on high-quality content (the same of which cannot be said of Facebook and Twitter in their current iterations). Unfortunately, as a growing number of brands wake up to the value of Instagram as a marketing platform, we’re seeing a spike in the use of Instagram bots for likes and comments.
